  If there is a place you need to visit in Fennimore, that's the Cottage Baker. This cafe has a rustic and vintage feel that brings out the nostalgia for times when life seemed to move slower.
  
  They serve amazing speciality coffees that don't envy the ones from major coffee shop chains. You should also try their smoothies and slushies; you won't be disappointed. If you are into tea, you'll be surprised to find the fine collection of loose leaf teas that you can purchase. English Breakfast, Japanese Green Sencha, Earl Grey, Mango Indica, Peach and Ginger, Lovely Lemon (green tea with lemon peel), Heavenly Hibiscus Blend, Christmas Blend (black tea with orange, cranberry, apple and cinnamon) and Organic black tea from Guatemala.
  
  Their baked goods are to die for. All made from scratch using canola oil and butter only. No shortening, corn syrups, canned pie fillings, or pre-made mixes. All is made fresh on premises. They won me over when I tried their pecan rolls. I thought they were their signature product... until I tried their apple turnovers, and their scones, and their bagels. Have I mentioned their muffins? My mouth is watering just from writing this review!
  
  One day someone brought me a bread bowl homemade soup. I had never seen one. I was just amazed at the originality of the idea. They are my favorites for a quick and delicious lunch.
  
  The staff is always friendly and happy. It's one of those places where you always leave with a smile on your face.

  The quality of the baked goods from The Cottage Baker is exceptional. Try the English muffin bread! Taste how scones should really taste, stop in for an iced late or a hot mocha. I like my mocha and theirs is (subjectively) excellent. Any coffee drink can be made hot or cold. This is a quality bakery and coffee shop found in our little corner of the Wisconsin.
